tea in tokyo, take me to japan.
japanese editorials? so many of them seem to have a stillness about them. everything looks very quiet and calm, with the cherry blossom barely moving and silent cups of tea.
sigh.

I find that model funny. Her teeth are very unique
ReplyDeleteThese do seem very still. Makes me want to go back to Japan. The backdrop in the first reminds me of many of the shrines I visited there...
ReplyDeletethey have some very good sweets too. mm green tea ice cream. i was to go sometime!!
ReplyDeletePretty...
ReplyDeleteIt's all just so zen, and relaxing, as you put it.
Lovee!
Last school year I made a portfolio about japan.I really wanna go there since then.I'm sure it's such an interesting country.
ReplyDeleteoh, if only they'd stop doing pictorials with smoking models, maybe cigarettes would look every inch the unhealthy habit they truly are...
ReplyDeleteOh well, it does look pretty quiet, I give you that! I got it into my weekly blogs round up!
OOH I LOVE the new layout! such a gorgeous look.
ReplyDeletealso, this photo shoot is adorable and snarky. i rely on your for all your amazing scans, b/c i am poor and cannot afford the fancy mags!

ReplyDeletewow I love that top one, it just seems to capture a piece of time. I just did this art project on Japan and all the t-houses have that same sort of quietness baout them. It's as if just by looking you can tell it would be quiet.
ReplyDeleteThese pics are awesome, just as your blog!
