I hate the fact that I'm doing a post on Kate, because at the moment, I feel like everyone is very sick and tired of her (myself, included) but this just seemed to good to miss because I'm sure you'll all have lots of opinions about it.
I love the hazy atmosphere and the dreamy quality, my only disapointment is that they seem to be presenting her as Kate Moss the celebrity reather than Kate Moss the model. Or maybe its just that its Kate Moss?
This portrait reminds me of the one of Natalie Portman taken my Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Its the similar colouring and dreaminess.
Thoughts? Are you sick of the Moss Madness or still intrigued?

ReplyDeleteSick to the back teeth of KM but they're beautiful shots. She is a great model but I think if they'd used someone else - Daria, Catherine McNeil, even Gisele - they would still have looked amazing.

ReplyDeleteI am not that sick of her...she is just the same as she has always been and my opinioun of her hasn't changed i think everyone (including me) has been a little harsh on her about the topshop line. And i think ppl just want an excuse to dislike her. But she just seems really normal and kateish still. So i still love her.
I know the Go! team are so so so good Huddle Formation is AMAZING... i also gets me dancing i havn't been to one of their gigs yet but hopefully soon..
Also i love that picture by Mert and Marcus it was in Face of Fashion exibition at the National Potrait Gallery did u see it? It was really good... So good i bought the book which is something i never usually do especially when it cost £35...

hmm, Kate Moss...I've been sick of her for a while. I didn't know of her during her golden years, but she looks so old and burnt-out, it's just not cute.

a yay for kate moss (heres to staying on top) and as for natalie portman, she just bugs me. she plays the same role everytime, and cannot act.
