A not so good week for The Olsens...
I hate to say it (honestly) but Ashley and MK, do you think you could mix it up a little bit? This week in particular, your identikit outfits have left me a little weary. The pieces on their own are great, and yes, Halloween may be coming up, but why so much black?
Leave the black to Angelina and let us see your adventurous sense of style that we love you so much for? Mary Kate, you were a genius to bring your Balenciaga motorcycle bag out of hiding, and Ashley, I salute you for wearing that bright orange dress.. More of this please!
But It's a great week to be Gwen...
Gwen Stefani has really been on top form this week, reminding us why we love her so much. Obviously one of her favourite looks of the moment is plaid and she's been wearing a lot of it. Without a doubt, the best thing she's worn recently has to be those fantastic black and white tight trousers which joyfully clashed with Kingston's Burberry shirt (see, it can be done!)

And top marks for her get-up to the book launch of style.com's "Stylist: The Interpreters of Fashion”. This is one of the best outfits she's worn in a long time and with Anna Wintour among the guests, Stefani fully proved her capabilities, aas well as coming across all Marilyn Monroe.
Gwen looks beautiful! I love to see her.

ReplyDeleteThat's so true about the olsens sisters. Those pictures with colorful clothes almost changed my mind about them (I don't like them so much you know). It was a pleasure to see Gwen, and the last outfit, perfect. She is great. I love her voice and style.

ReplyDeletei had an unpleasent incident earlier with one of those outfits where i wasnt sure which olsen was which for like five whole minutes!
it was humiliating, even though no one was around. it was humiliating to myself.

The Oslens can do no wrong for me, but the more colorful and adventurous outfits are definitely the more preferable. Gwen isn't looking half-bad either, its nice to see that becoming a mom hasn't hindered her style.

ReplyDeleteI am not the Olsen's biggest fan, I do like their style but I generally think waht you just said here, that they wear fabulous pieces but some how always come across a bit samey, nothing stands out. I wish they would cut and brush their hair too!

Like that picture too, the apples in the back. Those colors! Nooo, I don't read the French Vogue. But lately I'm having trouble with what is written in the magazines. It's not very interesting to me. Maybe it's time for me to switch from teen to the 'grown up' magazines. Maybe you know a couple of unknown magazines?

I am not a fan of Olsen's (but I have to recognize their great style) and lately they look like if someone they love had died. They always look serious and in black. I would like to get why.
