Alien Face
The Alien face has been a regular runway look with the likes of Lily Donaldson, Gemma Ward and Sasha Pivorova havin been hot favourites for so many seasons, but this alien face is new. Masha for example is about as strange looking as it is possible to be whilst still looking amazing. Some people just don't understand how she can be a model ( I myself am not one of those people) But which type of model do you like seeing walking down the runway most? Masha and her saucer eyes or the likes of Magdalena with her feline cheekbones and eyes?

Personally, I would like to see someone who is...how you say...attractive! That would be refreshing ;-P
I go for the cat eyes. That face from Masha is just spooky!
I felt fear when I first saw Masha, she is... weird
Dear Jesus, Masha is SCARY. seriously. Her eye balls are like poppin out. Hugest eyes ever.
Though Sasha wins in the cat department. I mean she looks just like those bald siamese cats!
I can't help myself I like the alien babydoll looks of Gemma and Sasha. Though the classic lines of Lily Donaldson are also appealing.
Don't get me wrong, i'm all for unique beauty, but classic features are just so much more..attractive.
i think magdalena could def work the catwalk!oh and as for gemma i think shes not so much alien face, but more babydoll. i think shes like the classic model.
Masha looks unique, yes. But so, so scary, like those kids in Village of the Damned.

I this the babydoll-alien looks of Sasha and Gemma are just so appealing. Can't get enough of them.
i like the variety. kasia, stam, sasha, daiane.. they all have very interesting faces and unique features. masha.. it's like she can't ever close her eyes! yeah they're very huge.

I actually think all of these models are really ugly
but I understand models do not have to be pretty
personally I would rather look at more attractive models but I guess it is up to the designers vibe

Masha is really unique looking but I wouldn't say scary. I personally do not like Sasha, that girl really does look ill, the black bags around her eyes are what I consider to be rather ugly.
Iekeliene(sp?)has a total alien face although it is rather elf like too, but I think she has a wonderfully different face. I do think models should be unique looking as there are beautiful faces everywhere but when you make your money through your looks it should be because you do look beautiful in an unique way.
God, I have such a tendency to go on and on!

Is it really boring if I say there's room for all of them?! The fashion world would be ultra boring if everyone was an alien, right?!

I agree with Katie - the alien merging with the feminine is such a morose abnormality within fashion these days.
Masha is a bit too bugeyed for my taste, but I can understand how she can work. I like models that looks legal. There are just too many 16 year olds gallavanting the runways, makes me jealous HA.
Masha is quite unique and that's what it takes to stand out in a sea of look alike models.
I couldn't get her at first, but then I kept on seeing her at more and more collections, and remembered her face immediately! Love her now.
I used to like McNeil...until I saw her Vogue cover with Mario Testino. Then I realized she had the same face in every photo. And every photo that came after that. Very one-note...

Feline! Though I don't get why Daiane is under that category. I think Irina Kulikova & Jessica Stam are the total epitome of felinity.
