i guess i didn't really summarise the new york trip.
put it this way.. everytime i find myself bored at college i realise i'm fantasising about cheap airlines and online booking.
so in short, i felt that i really got a great feeling for the place; having little adventures in each of the neighbourhoods and feeling surprisingly at home (that moment came when i popped into my local ray's pizza and the guy knew my order before i placed it. ayy)
same time next year?
astronomy print dress, pink cardigan, denim jacket, embroidered handbag, mocassins
floral playsuit dress, denim jacket, mocassins
visiting saks, bergdorf goodman, macys and all that jazz, isn't really my style. instead i poked around the flea markets and downtown thrift stores. much more my cup of tea.
so above is a little rundown of my purchases; i haven't listed where they're from because they're mainly vintage. however, just ask me in comments if you're eager to know.
ps, apologies for the camera yielding look. i clam up with a "photographer"! and that is why i shall never be a model!
now playing: tape song by the kills

The outfits are so cute! Love the denim jacket.
your outfits are great. really like the print dress.
The jacket is so Kirsten Dunst! And the dresses are so cute! I love how you have displayed the pictures!
I am always thinking about running off to New York, I also really want to go to LA but I think it would be VERY different from New York.
And my cat Twiglet is a little like Karl yeah. He was a rescue kitten so he didn't grow properly and he has a little white beard and is a total diva!
My other cat Ruby is just cranky, old and fat!

you have such a great style! You remind me a bit from The great Style Bytes :D

those big department stores arent really my thing either, which is why this time around i want to hit up all the best vintage shops.
ive had no luck in my search though, so i thought this is where you could chime in ;]
i know that where you can find all the really good stuff (ie. flea markets) will sadly not be open in the middle of the week - any places worth going that will have their doors open? youve found some really fab stuff. i love it all.
just drop me an email, doll.
ps. thanks to you i now have the urge to go out & buy the kills album, like asap.
pps. you are gorgeous.

love the bag and the contrast between the black tights, the summer dress and the jeans jacket. great look!
great oufits! i wish I had gone with you, I'm not very good at vintage shopping (not that I'm at home either in the big dept stores, I really hate being treated like gum on the bottom of someone's prada loafer) but looks like you found some awesome things- love the floral dress :)
tape song is one of my favorite kills

Great outfits!
The floral playsuit dress is amazing. It all is! To go to new york shopping is my dream, like you, i'm not bothered about the big stores only the vintage places where you can find all the cheap but excellent stuff.
