Wednesday night saw a bash thrown in celebration of the opening of Stella McCartney's first (that's premiere, all you francophiles) store in Paris, and with Catherine Deneuve, Marianne Faithful, Lara Stone, Lily Donaldson, Stefano Pilati (deep breath!), Sasha Pivovorova, Daphne Guinness and fashion industry bigwigs all in attendance, it was of course a very stylish affair.
Lily Donaldson wins in the dress department for her LBD, but Lara Stone's magenta dress trumps in the colour category. What does everyone think of Sasha P's effort?

I was intrigued that this store is opening just as her Moscow store is shutting down after a very short run.

So hard to pick a favourite, agree with your comments about Lily and Lara, but Daphne's dress is also gorgeous. I like Sasha Ps outfit too, love the layered necklaces and eyemake up, she is the original Sasha Fierce

+ about girlfriend in a coma , it's not bad .
i mean, i have definitely read better coupland novels (such as the gum thief), though it was very cool .
at parts i just wanted to shred the pages, but at the end it was one of those books where you're glad you read it .
like i said, it's cool .
it's definitely not for everyone, and when i lent it to a few of my friends they proceeded to tell me later that it was 'fucked up' and 'so weird' .
but i think you should still give it a try , i liked it .

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw Sasha I was all 'WOW! GEMMA DROPPED THOSE POUNDS FAST!' Esp after the Aussie tabloids did the whole 'Roll model' article on Gemma's weight gain. Then I realised that the features were way too sharp to be Gemma. Plus Sasha is way more FIERCE. Lol.
