there is nothing like a festival and a summer holiday within the space of a fortnight to play havoc with your blogging pattern. i'm off to corfu for a week with three college friends. my first holiday sans-parents, i'm hoping for some down time, including plenty of reading on the beach and nibbling of baklava and bread and olives.
i've set the timer so that there'll be some spooky, phantom posts doing my blogging job for me in my absense.
here's hoping that all goes according to plan.
and because everything loves being a little self indulgent every now and then..
I want you all to leave a little description of your ideal summer outfits. something you're enjoying kicking back in at the moment and can't take off, or the capsule collection you're dreaming of taking on holiday with you. just a few lines with maybe things that inspire you, the colour you'll be painting your finger nails, the perfume you'll be wearing, the shoes on your feet etc etc.
who knows, I might bring back a straw donkey for the winner!

my ideal summer outfit is a flowy racerback tank and a skirt. i can eat as much as i want and frolic around in it all day and be comfortable.

Oh you know, just the ordinary: black Repetto flats, a lightweight but gorgeous dress, a cotton tote bag with a portrait of Elizabeth of Bavaria bought in Vienna last summer.. Wearing the same two dresses over and over.

i've decided all i'll be wearing this summer is red. i'm obsessed with that color so much right now.
high waisted shorts and a striped bandeau at the beach. Actually here in Peru we are in winter so i got 5 more months to plan :)

Barcelona is sooo hot so, a mini dress in a neutral colour and flat and comfortable sandals. I´d bought and amazing pair at zara this summer!

Summer holidays have just started here in Vienna. I'll be wearing whatever is practical to cycle slowly round the city. Shorts and t-shirts. Dresses I've had for years. I love not having to wear socks or tights. I love the endless possibilities of summer: "Should I go to a park? Ooh I have time for the museums now as well."
My nails will be painted light blue, or silver. I'll be going on a road trip to Berlin/Scotland/festivals next week. I can't wait.
I think my ideal summer outfit would be my billabong surf dress. I fell in love with it a few years ago and its remained in my wardrobe ever since. I just wish the weather would remain nice enough and I could get more beach days in to wear it! Have a fab holiday :)
gorgeous pictures. i love that bikini. summer for me is turquoise/sky blue fingernails, floaty billowing dresses with worn brown leather belts, boots boots boots (who says you can't wear them in summer) and absolutely NO GLADIATORS arghh i am so sick of seeing those, eating lots of fresh fruit and growing my hair! have fun in corfu xxx

Cool pictures! I hope your holiday is excellent! This summer (when not at work) I'll be bumming around in my huge Nirvana t-shirt and tiny shorts, so it looks like I'm not wearing any pants at all.

Summer outfit for me definitely has to be a mens slightly fitted yet loose "denim" button down shirt with th arms folded to the elbow, paired with a well tailored short and matched with a vintage suede sandals in a camel color. Oh, and shades in a vibrant color.

i've been recycling distressed cut offs,semi-sheer white button down,crop tops,lace&kork-ease wedges&flat sandals
&a nail color from mixing coral&a weird orange
sandals and red toenails all the time, they go with anything in my wardrobe
It's all about a little floaty dress and flat pumps! With an army jacket over the top for when the evenings get cold, stella mccartney perfume, and dove grey nail polish.
And a pint of very very cold cider just to polish the whole thing off... bliss!

5 dollar shoes from rite aid and dove cucumber body spray.
plain light grey vest (free in a magazine!), distressed pale denim mini, collected jewellery, friendship bracelets, festival wristbands and black rubber gladiaors (£8 from New Look). Summer isnt about putting work into an outfit for me!!

These are some really beautiful shots! I'll be heading to NYC and it will be super hot, so pink shorts and easy layerings of tanks or tees will be perfect for me! Oh and a pair of ray bans to keep the sun out of my eyes. Blue nails work for me too.

My ideal summer outfit has got to be a nice fresh and airy dress. This is what I wear almost all of the summer, mixing and matching accessories, sandals, shoes or heels. But its definitely got to be a dress :)
