massachusetts

After what feels like the longest wait ever, today I leave for the United States. I'll be spending a semester studying in Massachusetts and couple of months traveling around afterwards. The blog will continue as normal, there'll probably just be more pancake stack coverage. If anyone has any must-sees or tips for Boston (where can I find the best lobster roll?) please do sling them my way. See you on the other side!

I don't have any tips for Boston, but if you're planning on stopping by Montreal or Ottawa (who knows!), I'd be glad to share my favourite spots with you. Good luck on your move, and see you on the other side :)

some boston thrifting tips:

urban renewals- a thrift, you have to dig but there are gems to be found

the garment district- this place is kind of crazy, on the first floor there is dollar a pound clothing-- i think they may have recently changed it to 1.50 a pound but whatever-- and you get to dig in a room w/ a massive pile of clothes, then your finds are weighed. there is a huge costume section, then upstairs there is a sizable vintage section that has pretty good prices.

have fun!
