It's starting!

It's starting! Pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor took a leaf out of Sienna's book last night when she made an appearance at G-A-Y in London last night in a a pair of glitzy Chanel pants! Channelling a Madonna meets Dorothy look in a red leotard and matching red slipper heels.

I like the fact that Sophie braved the look, although I don't think she pulled it off quite as well as Ms Miller (Though that would have been quite an accomplishment!)

Whos going to be next to jump on the bandwagon? I'm feeling the LA It Clan? Lindsay and Nicole, and maybe even the Olsens worn with their fur! I can't wait to see how this look translates onto the High Streets. Hahaha...

The new frenzy has Karl Lagerfeld and Miuccia Prada to thank. Wonder what they think of the coverage?

I like it on Sophie because it fits with her act. But wearing it in real life, non!

i love this look.
i wear demin hotpants over tights to college all the time, and no one says anything, although white van drivers always have a lot to say on the way home.
i think they both look great in their tiny shorts.
it way classier than a short skirt i think.

Hi Discotheque Confusion!

Will you be in Paris during Fashion Week?

We have set up all details for our meetup and so far Anina, our co-host (360 Fashion), Yvan (The Facehunter), Emi (Letters to Marc Jacobs) and Susie Bubble have all confirmed they will attend.

I really hope you can make it and please spread the word!

the one on sienna looks a bit diaper-like and it's never good when something reminds you of that one crazy astronaut lady. but i loveveveveve her clutch! haha i just cannot imagine people walking down the streets on a hot summer day wearing thoes prada/chanel hot pants. although i thought caroline roitfeld looked pretty damn good in the purple prada ones.

i'm loving the new layout.

i generally like this look but i'm not sure if i like sienna's interpretation; it was much cuter the way chanel styled their runway :)
ps - no i didn't take a joanie picture. i felt like enough of a nerd for recognizing her and just saying, "uh....hiii!" lol.
