Model Citizen

One of my favourite parts of fashion week is the people watching. When flicking through pages and pages of style.com collections pushes me to breaking point, I take comfort in snaps of the models backstage and on the the street, prancing and showing off their own outfits, for once able to style themselves.

apologies for the break in posting; for the past few days neglecting the blog has made me feel like a distracted parent, but it's good to be back.
Went to see The Diving Bell and the Butterfly on saturday night, and enjoyed it so much, I genuinely recommend you all see it, if not for the incredibly moving and in parts humorous narrative, then for the perfect French women with floaty minidresses and bedhead hair.

Ooh Maryna looks fab!
Where did you get these? It's amazing seeing what models do outside of their runway lives - they're just like us, I suppose. Except more glamorous. Lol.

ah... Starbucks... an everlasting love *g* Top: The girl with the hat (kind of K.M.) and the one with the blazer, although I'm not so sure about the fur, it matches to the whole style, but yeah I just hope it's a fake..

Watching the how everyone dresses during fashion week is such fun! First you see the new stuff on the runway, then you see how people are playing with it on the streets!

i agree, the best part is the backstage !! people are real and honest, without makeup, they feel free to say the clothes were like shit or that it was fantastic !! it's the best place !! the runaway is too popular and too much seen to be really appreciated !! people cant be themselves when there's hundreds of pretty and fashionable queens and kings around

I love models style, it's nice to see they are being a bit more daring than old mossy who has stuck to her uniform for much to long now
I know what you mean about style.com snaps, I find it hard to imagine the clothes on the runway, and this year I have found the styling of the shows a little off
